Safety Padlock Information
Padlocks are comprised of three basic components: the shackle, body and locking mechanism.
Shackle: The loop of metal that opens up to lock a device.
Body: The solid part of the padlock that contains the locking mechanism
Locking mechanism/cylinder: Locks usually have a keyway where the key is inserted, or they may use a type of rotary mechanism or dial.
Types of Safety Padlock
Masterlock:
S31 : Zenex composite body, this can withstand extreme temperatures, stainless steel shackle, key retaining which means the key can only be removed when the padlock is locked.
Lock body can be laser engraved also comes with “Danger “ labels.
Dimensions : body width 35mm, body height 48mm, shackle length 38mm, clearance 16mm, diameter 4.76mm.
Long Shackle available: 76mm.
S32 : Zenex composite body and nylon shackle ideal for electrical lockoutas it is non-sparking and
non-conductive also key retaining.
Lock body can be laser engraved also comes with “Danger “ labels.
Dimensions : body width 35mm, body height 48mm, shackle length 38mm, clearance 16mm, diameter 4.76mm.
410 : Zenex composite body, hardened steel shackle, withstands temperatures from -57c to + 177c.
Lock body can be laser engraved also comes with “Danger “labels.
Dimensions : body width38mm, body height 44mm,shackle length 38mm , clearance 20mm,
Diameter 6mm.
406 : Zenex composite body and composite nylon shackle, ideal for electrical lockout as it is non-sparking and non-conductive also key retaining.

Dimensions : body width38mm, body height 44mm,shackle length 38mm , clearance 20mm,
Diameter 6mm.
